Strange SEC markings on 1988A

    Appears to be radom, stamped graffiti. Weird huh ?

    Added typing after the bill was printed.
    Only the person who did it would know what it means.

    The "91" quite likely corresponds to the year the typing was done on the note as it was printed in 1991: http://www.uspapermoney.info/serials/f1988as.html.

    The rest is likely to remain a mystery unless the individual who applied the markings sees this thread and comes forward to explain them. This is unfortunately unlikely to happen. Still, it is an interesting note from which to ponder.
