Strange markings on this penny !!!

    Have a 1983 penny with these circular dots on the reverse. They almost look like a O or a zero ? Lmk if youve seen such a thing before.

    Your Cent is a Copper Plated Zinc coin.
    What your are seeing plating bubbles that burst. Just damage :yack:

    When they burst they cause zinc rot as stated.
