Hi All, I have a coin that has me a bit confused. Both sides are the same. I believe it is Italian. There is a man facing left and the letters: VITT EM II RE E IMP There is no date. Can anyone help? Rosalie
photo The coin is exactly the same as the fourth one in the first row (it is the same front and back)
I have to agree with Doug, and yep it might also be a magicians coin, Magicians were quite popular in Italy Can you post a pic or scan of it?
Well, you show coins of Vittorio Emanuele III but VITT EM II would be Vittorio Emanuele II though he did not use that inscription on coins...So I am assuming it is III not II on your coin? If it says II and has that portrait...its way off base. As for double sided obverse...dont know, never seen one.
I have a double head Italia coin as well, looks like Vitt em III no date. heads face left on both sides?
Hello. I have the same coin (text on sides: VITI EM III. RE E IMP) if you look closely at the side of the coin, you’ll see that it’s actually two coins stuck (welded?) together!
That's actually a coin though. https://www.ngccoin.com/price-guide...mi-km-75b-1939-1943-cuid-1125698-duid-1471514
I also have the same coin, it seems to have a seam around the edge as if two identical coins were filed and stuck back to back.
@Luis Giuliani this is an old post and you would have better results if you started a new post, WITH GOOD, FULL IMAGE PHOTOS.
