I don't catch a fish every time I go fishing, but I still enjoy going. And I won't stop going just because I didn't catch anything 3 times in a row. You set the agenda for how you collect and that's how you do it. Everybody has a different approach to the same hobby, but we all enjoy it. It might feel a little strange sometimes when you don't buy anything, but it always feels good when you buy something you really do want.
Thank you guys so much for your feedback. I mean yeah i was a little dissapointed when i walked out of the show with nothing but now i have almost one hundred dollars to take with me to the whitman show which is nearly 100x bigger than the show i was at sunday. Im sure ill be able to find something there and now ill have money to buy it when i see it. It would have been a shame if i bought coins i didnt really want out of boredom and then couldnt afford the coins i really want this weekend. I randomly almost bought like 20 barber quarters just out of boredom at the show but luckily my dad came and said it was time to go hahaha. How do you adults muster up the strength to leave a big coin show?
There's nothing wrong leaving a show empty handed. I do it all the time. I still enjoy browsing around.
Well, that isn't totally true. A few years ago, there was the cutest blonde plainclothes OCSD at the FUN Show. When the doors opened for the public, I walked straight up to her, held my hands out and said, "Arrest me!" She asked why, and I said, "I don't care, just take me anywhere!" That is the only time I really regret leaving empty-handed. Chris
