hey guys I worked at a summer camp for the summer and some kid heard I liked coins so he gave me these.
He said "These are some ancient coins I found" what are they really and are they dangerous? (they just look like they could be dangerous they don't make cameras fussy or smell or anything just curious) They are magnetic BTW.
I think they could be flattened steel circles (not sure why he would have them but here we are) IMG_0966.JPG IMG_0967.JPG

EDIT: he had a bag full at least 25

I would say slugs or even just punchouts (say from an electric box)... do they appear to have anything but a plane flat surface???

These are the knock out from electrical switch and outlet boxes. They have no monetary value. Additionally, they are purposely sized so they can not be used as slugs in vending machines.

They look like junction box punchouts. I see now @mrweaseluv beat me to it by one minute.

Most likely made of steel (punchouts) so they aren't magnetic, they would be ferromagnetic which means they are attracted to a magnet ;)

I think they actually are ancients which were placed on R/R tracks & run over by a train. :D Very unique...probably the first ones ever! :troll::nailbiting:

Punch outs from steel electric junction boxes.

They are not dangerous except for any sharp edges.

CoinCorgi Tell your dog I said hi!

I think if @charley said this, it would make sense. But for now...what?
