I've been really busy and unable to read the boards over the last week so I apologize for not responding. First of all, I wanted to let you know I'm female. So no more "he" :) Second, I collect $2 bills because I like them. Every now and then, I'll order some from the bank just to go through and see if there are weird serial numbers, really nice condition notes, and star notes. As I learn more about them, I'll expand what I collect. For example, I'm starting to save more Minneapolis notes based on what I've read here. Now I read that Cleveland is something to collect as well? I'll have to look into that. Anyway, I had ordered some straps and a good chunk of them were 1976, which I like more than the newer ones. And then I found the star notes. I asked their value just because I was curious. I'm not searching just to turn around and sell. I go out and buy notes, so I'm certainly not going to dump something I found for face value unless of course I got a really good offer. Then I'd have to think long and hard about it. I love collecting coins and paper and I'm willing to spend money on the things I like. But I REALLY love finding things for face value. There's something fun and exciting about it. I can't explain it.
