strange 1967 quarter, acid dipped?

  1. Found this decided to post as I am a novice looking for any knowledge to combat my naivete. I have posted 2 shots of 2 1967 quarters for a comparison in brightness, 2 close ups and one side view q1.jpg q.jpg q3.jpg q4.jpg q5.jpg q5.jpg q5.jpg of the one in question. thank you for looking.

    The darker Quarter (non-shiny) is just Environmental Damage.

    Maybe sand blasted/Grit blasted. Regardless, it is not a mint error.
