I just got my first gold coin (1873 Prussian 20 marks), and have not yet officially ensconced it into my collection. I'm wondering if there are any gold-specific coin storage considerations I need to know? i.e. can I just put it into a 2x2 and not worry about it? or is that going to damage the coin.
Gold coins are not typically reactive and you should be able to store them as you please (within reason), without worry.
