Since they are strictly bullion, the zip lock bag should be more than sufficient. Any toning should not matter ( and if it does, dipping these are not the same as coins ). Since they are already marked as to content, the very small weight gain from tarnishing would not be a factor anyway :)

would bufing them with a cotton brush do anything *scratches lowering value etc) or does no coin rule count for bullio?

unless they are art bars or antique bars, then there could be collectors out there who'd pay more for them

  8. If you are strictly purchasing for bullion and not numismatic value, then this is fine. Use the money you would have spent on storage supplies to buy more gold. TC

I bought Norman Rockwell silver art bar paintings from the Saturday Evening Post based on Roosevelt's speech. Freedom of Worship, Freedom of Speech, Freedom from Fear, Freedom from Want. They are from the Hamilton Mint in 1976, and weigh 2 ounces a piece of .999. I really like them, and probably won't sell them for a while. So, some bullion could just be "neat" to own.
