I keep all of my proof coinage in air tites, and are stored in a brinks safe, which is rarely closed and locked ( i&#039;ve got some nice, rather large locks on my coin room door) </p><p>Another safe, custom made by a guy here in town, holds all my other mint state coins, and my albums, and a large sum of 2 dollar bills in sequence that I am keeping just to see what the price does on them in about 50 years when I decide to retire or something.</p><p><br /></p><p>What I collect:</p><p>I collect whole lot of everything that is U.S. and pre 1970.... I have a large hoard of jefferson nickels, a large hoard of wheaties, and a large hoard of possible errors goin on, that are simply placed in a chest the size of a small cars trunk ( if anyone ever steals it, at least I have the satisfaction of knowing they had to use 6 guys, and still popped blood vessels, and their tires went flat on the truck they put it in from all the weight <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie8" alt=":D" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" /> ). </p><p>As for my main area of interest, and all my high grade coinage, I collect any and all barber coinage, silver wartime nickels, fsb winged libery dimes, and bust coinage. When I first started collecting, I was into wheat cents, that has long since passed, and am fixing to sale my wheat cent collection to buy more coins that strike my fancy.... I&#039;m weak hearted for toned high grade jefferson nickels, especially silver wartime nickels. That pretty much sums it up, I suppose.
