Plasticizers will over time migrate from the vinyl. Vinyl pages would not affect coins in a plastic snap or plastic slab.</font></font></p><p><br /></p><p><font size="3"><font face="Times New Roman">There are 2 basic type of plasticizers DEHP and BBzP, Lead can also be used as a slip agent in manufacture of soft vinyl. This is why you should always use a paper flip. The plasticizers will migrate onto the exterior of the paper flip, but will not migrate through the paper flip. BCW only uses BBzP for a plasticizer, and all our pages and vinyl flips are lead free.
