Stone Mountain Counterstamp

Does anyone have a copy of the Stone Mountain counter stamp list.? I think it was once published in The Numismatist.

Thanks for the info. I have previously read that article. Still, would like to have a copy of the list. Love the Stone Mountain half dollar. Stone Mountain Memorial designer is better known for Mt. Rushmore carvings.

 

Here is the way that Stone Mountain was originally intended to look. The cost and design factors exploded into controversy, a number of key workmen quit, and we ended up with just heads.

 

Glad they did not try to put all of that on the coin.
