[QUOTE="Joe Campbell, post: 3990614, member: 89857"]I buy weird stuff sometimes because I find it interested. The flip side I'm often left with unanswered questions. Recently I purchased 6 Morgan dollars that were given out by Anheuser-Busch in the 1960's as service anniversary awards. On the reverse they're all stickered same as the one shown below, with dates from 1963 to 1967. A few have neat toning, the 1904 looks really nice (maybe XF45+?). I have a couple of questions for the folks here:

1) One of the mysteries of these is I can read the mint mark (obviously) because they're stickered over. Would the draw of knowing the mintmark cause you guys to take the stickers off? I'm confident a water soak and then some acetone with do the trick. The years of the Morgan's are 1881 (this one is an 'O', the sticker actually fell off this morning when I was examining them), 1882, 1883, 1884, 1889 and 1904.

2) Tied to the 'should I take the stickers off' question, I assume there is some value in them due to the stickers? Maybe.... I see a hand listed on eBay for ~$40-60 but I haven't found a record of any selling so maybe not. I'm in to them for $13.25 apiece so I'm not going to get hurt either way, really just trying to educate myself more than anything.

Thanks for looking and any thoughts.
