Sticker residue on a St. Louis Worlds Fair medallion

    Acetone plus a BOILING distilled water rinse to finish...

    And then an acetone rinse to remove the water from the boiling distilled water rinse. :)

    I collect these medals so I know pure acetone works well and maybe use some verdi care afterwards.

    is there residue on them?

    if not, don't clean them

    There's a thick glue residue about 1/16 to 1/8 inch thick on the entire reverse side of each coin so that I can't even see which denomination it is. It's surprising how hard it is to pry the coins off the cardboard page.

    I think that cat is EF details because it seems to have seen little circulation and you can't see de tail.
