Acetone plus a BOILING distilled water rinse to finish...

 

And then an acetone rinse to remove the water from the boiling distilled water rinse.

 

I collect these medals so I know pure acetone works well and maybe use some verdi care afterwards.

 

is there residue on them?

if not, don't clean them

 

This medal is also known as so called dollar HK-315. Many medals from expositions are also known as so called dollars.

There's a thick glue residue about 1/16 to 1/8 inch thick on the entire reverse side of each coin so that I can't even see which denomination it is. It's surprising how hard it is to pry the coins off the cardboard page.

 

I think that cat is EF details because it seems to have seen little circulation and you can't see de tail.
