    All of the S quarters were lower mintage, so there is some value there over face. Especially in uncirculated condition.
    The first ATB S coins, were proof only. (And silver proofs.) $3 and $8.
    Starting in 2012 they made business strike S coins, (NIFC) these are
    listed in USA Coin Book at $2 each. (In MS 65)
