It's hard to sell bad ideas and junk to people who are actually well educated. Even "reputable news sources" are full of junk history. I once read in a major newspaper how the Roman Empire fell because of Marius...<b>yeah, that Marius who died in the first century BCE before the empire was even a thing</b>. I almost died from laughter.
