Sort of like already noted take some time and try to find a coin store, hobby shop that carries coins, a coin club or a coin show in your area. Usually you can find them by using Google or Yahoo. For coin shows just type in coin shows and your state. If you live near a border of another state, try that one also. </p><p>And also, WELCOME TO THIS FORUM. </p><p>If you can make it to a coin show or coin store, for the first time just keep your hands in your pockets. By that I mean don't rush into purchasing any coins until you really think you know what you like. So called window shopping is a lot of fun and you usually won't regret not spending money at first for something you really don't want. </p><p>Unfortunately there will probably be coins you later will say, nuts, why didn't I buy that one.
