They'll have double protection from being in plastic flip then outer plastic holder. A dealer told me to do it. If it's bad I can change it.
OK, just finished reading the whole thread. Interesting, to say the least. Now, just what are we supposed to be seeing here? I see a 73BS, with small surface flaws, a 73D, very nice surface, in some kind of packaging originally (?), 74BS with very nice surface, packaged (?) Curious minds... Thanks, Harry
Hehe. Yeah, I understand why that post would be confusing. Bman33 is looking to add these dates/mms to his set, and he wanted me to post pictures of the ones I had available on his thread. We were discussing a possible sale/trade via email (PM).
If you want to get an idea of different ways Ikes can be collected, go to pcgs.com, click on Registry Sets, and you should be able to find all the different types of Ike Registry Sets being formed. As far as how much a complete set will cost, that all depends on the grades of the individual coins. A complete set in MS/PR63 won't cost all that much.
Hi, I have the 1971-D Ike's coin and 1972 or 1977 too you want them offer me a fair price for them no cherry picking.
You should have no problem finding them in MS64. All dates are easily found in this condition with just a little searching. Now if you wanted to go MS65 and up this is a whole different story. It gets a lot tougher (at least for me) to find raw Ikes in MS65 and above. BTW have you posted any photo's of your Ikes yet? There is a "Post an Ike" thread here on CT. Would love to see some of yours.
I have to get my lighting down before I post new photos. I got sweet 76 and 76D toners to show though!
In addition to that I put a piece of paper in a sleeve with the Y/MM and any other pertinent info for each coin printed on so there is a lot of "padding" for each coin.
The left side is a little dark. I would add a second light on the left, or try moving your light source so it shines down from the top of the coin. See if that helps.
