Don't even remember when or where I got mine. Now losing one in Iowa, that may happen to me too. But getting one there, that is odd indeed. Christian
I suppose you may get many other cheap (and also a little bit expensive) bi-metallic coins from the euro. Sorry if you already mentioned this, but here you have a list of 2€ conmemorative coins : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/€2_commemorative_coins For example: The following site is in Spanish, but you can see lots of pics and it has been recently updated : http://ret001qm.eresmas.net/index.htm I also recommend a very good bimetallic catalog here : http://www.alfonso.saussol.name Among other things, you can get the catalog (PDF, 64.8 Mb, so please be patient during download) clicking on the text : "Catalogo de bimetalicas, pincha aquí para bajarte el catálogoActualizado el 17 de Noviembre 2007" (which means "bimetallic catalog, click here to download the catalog. Updated on November, 17th 2007"). Please enjoy this great catalog for your personal purposes, but do NOT distribute it. I'm afraid the author had a bad experience on this. Sorry it is in Spanish too, but you may ask if you don't understand anything. HTH
I'm afraid that catalog is provided "as is" and it has been a great work for a single person that distributed it for free. And the other site was not updated for Jamaica : http://ret001qm.eresmas.net/jamaica.htm But I think they are a good begining, although, of course, they are in Spanish.
And I also checked that you can find them on the other site : http://www.alfonso.saussol.name/Coleccion1/149.html http://www.alfonso.saussol.name/Coleccion1/149-20-140-1.html And by the way, I have just checked that the catalog DOES include two bimetallic coins from Jamaica.
Still in Brazil enjoying Carnival LOL but have not as yet got either of the Jamaican Bi-Metalics will have to work on that once I get back home
Nice to hear from you! Well, "Karneval" over here sure is a little different from Brazil, but the Rose Monday parade here in Düsseldorf today was fun. Christian
