Start of My Bi-Metallics Collection

    Sounds like a bit of fum, I love sorting coin lots out :D even if I only come away with a couple for my own collection.

    Was hunting about but coudnt find it anywhere LOL but I was tired :D then I thought have I called one of my Spanish coins wrong :rolling: I did manage to turn to Italian euros French along with all the other errors I made last night :eek:
    Deffinatly interested and nope dont mind circulation marks at all, nuch appreciated :hug:

    Both West and Central Africa issued bi-metallic coins - a 250 CFA and a 500 CFA. I have some in a jar in a suitcase somewhere in a storage shed. If and when I find them, I can send them to you. Memory is fading fast here, but I think the 250 CFA coin was quite short-lived.

    They would find a nice warm home here and not have to live in a drafty shed LOL

    I would put them in a cloth bed, sit them under a small lamp to keep them warm, hire their own personal servant to tend to their every need ...

    oh, i thought we were comparing who would take better care of the coins :D :D

    Been offerd it but there is no way I can afford to pay that amount out for one coin, the wife would kill me LOL and then sell it :eek:

    are you sure she will kill you first? if so you can leave the coin to me i your will. that way she wont be able to sell it and you will get your revenge :) :D

    Steve I just looked you don't yet have the bi-metallic 1000 bolivar coin from Venezuela. I posted one in my Omnicoin collection have a look if you want I can send you.

    My bank teller just handed me a 1997 Hungary 100 forint last week... Such an odd coin to find in SW Iowa. But it goes nicely with my French 10 francs that I brought back from the service...
