Star Notes?

Picked up cash from the bank my business cash register yesterday. Two $100.00 banded stacks of ones. I hate new bills for the cash register. Anyway both stacks were solid consecutive star notes. Should I use these in the register or get new stacks of ones when the bank opens? And then what happens if the new stacks are star notes.

Just an update - gave an employee two $100.00 bills to go to the bank and get some more ones. Guess what they brought back? More star notes. Now I have a stack of 400 consecutive numbered star notes. I can't continue to run the business this way. I can't run a business if I can't make change.

If you can, set them aside and forget you have them.
