I guess you can't keep all of them when you find them commonly.

No you really can't its crazy, the hunt is still fun thought and i will tell you what there are some out there worth a small fortune!! I recently came across on of the rarest modern $50 dollar star notes, funny thing was that didn't even come from my job, actually my side job is antiques and i was payed with it. I almost spent it but decided to look it up first and couldn't believe my eyes when i saw the numbers !!

bryantallard show me the money....so i can look through it

I got a $5 tip (all ones) and 2 of them were stars. but I have also gotten 500 ones and got nothing. if you are going to search bills though I suggest learning about fancy serial numbers. you can sell things that you don't want to buy things that you DO want

I got one as part of a cash payment a few weeks ago. I posted it on my own thread. This is it from 1969! I just got lucky ;)

I have not been collecting stars real long, but I've seen more in 6 months than you get at the ATM.

I've gotten at least two $20 star notes, one was 2004 and one was 2009.

That seller probably didn't make anything after fees and shipping costs. Hopefully, for sellers sake, they get positive feedback and future business from it.

Ace71499, photos would be helpful if you can; if not then update your post with the complete serial numbers. Some districts/blocks have more value, Friedberg catalog values for example: 2006 $100:
    Fr.2180-B* - $150 in CU63
    Fr.2180-E* - $175 in CU63
    Fr.2180-F* - $175 in CU63
    Fr.2180-K* - $175 in CU63
    Fr.2180-L* - $175 in CU63

Sorry, I forgot that the letters were so significant.
    2009 $1: J00095366* Crisp, Small Rip
    2006 $1: G05746579* Crisp
    2006 $100: HB12942779* BU, right from bank
The $100 has B2 under the HB
