I think those are great finds. The first $10 is pretty worn...but I would hang onto it until you find a better one. I don't think the serial number is low enough to make much of a difference.
on the back of my star not it says 43 dose that mean it is the 43rd printed if so will that affect the value
Check out this link. the series was hard to read on that 1st one, but if it's a 2001 like I think I see? on it the print run was only 320,000. What series is that 1st one? http://www.mycurrencycollection.com/reference/stars/lookup.php
the serial # is GL10127259* the series is 2004 A the number on the back right corner is 43 anything else
that one was run 4, with 1,920,000 made and was printed in oct. of 06. it's in nice shape and may commans small premium. However, I'm interested in the other $10. The one with S# CB00098538* with a run of only... what'd i say, 320,000? that could command a larger premuim despite its condition to anyone trying to assemble a set. I keep all stars, so I hope you keep them both. That's if that is indeed a series 2001.
(I'm just trying to not start a new thread) What would the value be for a Series 2006 $100 bill? It's in XF condition I don't have a book on me
