The first zero is almost a given based on size of printages of star notes. Most who put a zero in the first field have had to have gotten that position correct.
How many data analysts do we have here? :rolling: This route might take a very long time to complete the SN guessing.
oh boy second day, here is my second day guess of the serial number on the star note. 02222222, and another question I have is this, are you counting only correct numbers, or numbers that are correctly in the right place? This contest will be fun for those of us who enjoy doing the sudoku puzzlers in the newspaper, most people do not realize that in solving sudoku you do not need math skills, it all comes down to logic.
I am only counting numbers that are in the right position. For strategic help, compare ikandiggit's guess with 0 correct numbers and chips guess that revealed that there has to be at least two 1's in the serial number. By comparing the two, you can tell where the 1's aren't...! (I have to stop myself from making a spread sheet!)
3rd post on page 2, 1 of your numbers was correct. Tomorrow morning I will reply to all of today's numbers. HAPPY 4th EVERYONE!
