Standing Liberty Quarter Grade and Price

    nic a date would be the only answer. would it still ruin it if you put this on it and it turned out to be a 23S?

    Since the question did include an estimate of the grade, I'll call it a VG10. Too bad about the date, though.

    AG- dateless, worth melt.

    AG according to ANA grading:
    Date is weak but still readable..., so it is worth melt.

    Coinlover, AFAIK, nic-a-date won't work on silver.

    I have a standing liberty and two older quarters 1908 and 1915, ill take a picture and post it. i have some mercury head dimes , a 1925 1924 1923 1923 and a 1918.

    what made these coins so corroded?

    they where wraped in cloth with copper jewlery.

    melt value, that crud will not come off easily, without damaging the coins.
