Stamp on penny idenify

Hey all im pretty sure someone probally put this stamp on coin,i was just wondering if anyone has seen this stamp before or knows what it means thanks

Nevermind i think its a medival freemason stamp..pretty cool though

Glad that wasn't a wide AM on the reverse! Neat counter stamp! I found one from Iowa a while back. Pretty cool as long as there is no other numismatic value that it takes away from!

 

Looks to bee some extra stamping..
The numerals 3 and 1 over the symbol.. but I don't know what that would mean.

 

They are very common and take the place of the old style larger masonic pennies that were some times used as membership tokens, Recently found a number of both styles in two bulk bags I bought.

Yep! You can see the deformation of the coin on the reverse when the Mason's symbol was stamped into the obverse.
