st. gaudens mini

    I have a number of these mini coins. I do not know their worth. Tiny, and with the literature you get when you buy them. Apparently they are solid gold, but, well, tiny.

    They usually don't have any actual gold content. They make these mini versions of other nation's gold and silver coins as well.

    hmmm. okay. so, they seem a little silly, I guess, and kitsch.

    Those are often thrown into "junk lots" which are a marketing gimmick on Ebay. They are "HGE" which means gold plated. They aren't worth much at all and from what I read, where produced by the Franklin mint. Remind me of those Gold buffalo replicas they sell on commercials for $9.95.
