    Actually no. Ethics charges by the ANA is not "getting sued". That is an internal investigation by the ANA. And it their investigation none of the examples (slabs) used to "prove" their charges against him were less than 15 to 20 years old.

    On the other hand Alan has done some suing of his own. Some cases were tossed out by the courts, others settled out of court in Alan's favor. No court decision has ever gone against him. ANACS and PCGS can't say that. I don't know if NGC has ever been sued over their grading.

    P.S. This should not be construed as an endorsement of Alan Hagar and or Accugrade.

    Years ago, Mr Hager was thought to be a really great grader but he created and started using his own standards. Very few agreed with those standards and said so in public. Many had to get a lawyer to make the problem go away.

    It goes to show that you can write or speak true or false information and still land in court for your actions. All it takes is money. I wonder if Mr Hager is still active in the hobby.

    RELAXING all the way in a Good Life... I just HIT the LOTTERY!

    That's all..

    Now these day is too much grade in a plastic, there is an asterisk, there's also a + plus an CAC sticker! etc.. with attribution fee! plus membership fee.Too many charges just only to certified your coins. NO WONDER most new Breed of collectors stay away in this HOBBY...Because of HIGHWAY ROBBERY to a New Breed of Collectors.- EYE APPEAL with a WINK*;) Just my 11c.

    Selling so Many MS70, PR70, Plated State Quarters some is a lot of color dollor, that the new collectors thinking that coins they bought will be valuable in the FUTURE when they found out all that plated or colurful coins has no NUMISMATIST VALUE just FACE VALUE only because it is Damaged Coin. Plated Platinum, Plated Gold, etc.. URGHHH!~

    It is BETTER the OLD WAY 12 years ago..

    Do you know why suits are settled ? It's not because anybody won or lost the case, or is afraid of losing the case. And it's not because anybody is right or wrong, or did anything right or wrong.

    Suits are settled because that the cheapest way out of the suit. Suits are settled because to see it through until the end, even if you are 100% certain you will win, will cost you more in legal fees than it will to just settle the suit and be done with it.

    Of course that is also why suits are filed in the first place - money.
