"Spooned Dime"?

    These 2 pics are of a Dime. It is on and next to a regular Dime. I've heard of "Spooned" Dime's before but never saw one. I'm guessing this is an example? But it being a 2015 P makes me wonder why anyone would do this anymore?

    I'm a little confused. Your first photo shows a normal edge, with RR, so why did you post it? Your second photo shows a "spooned" edge and normal edge. A photo of the spooned edge straight on should show signs of the edge being moved into the coin.

    The spooned Dime is on top of a normal Dime. That's the view from above.

    That's correct. I positioned the Dime with the smooth edge on top of a regular Dime just to get a sense of how much smaller it was. Probably should have got a better picture.
