Part of my purchase this past weekend was a NGC Box full of MS-63 Morgans. Many had bits of toning on them I thought was very pretty. Here is a small sample..what's your opinion ?

Please don't take this the wrong way, but that sort of toning doesn't usually attract strong bids if you should decide to sell. Also, common-date Morgans in MS63 can be found very easily, so that, too, doesn't attract a lot of interest.

I in no way meant to imply that the toning commanded a premium of any sort. I just think it's pretty. And that's what I bought these as..Common date MS-63 Morgans at 10% Below Greysheet Bid. Most of my sales are at a local flea Market near here and coins like this do well there.

Some of that toning to me looks like tarnish.

My purpose for making those statements were to, hopefully, let newcomers to the hobby know that better specimens fare better in the marketplace.

Of course toning that gets a * (star) designation from NGC will fare better but you probably wouldn't be able to buy it at 10% back of Greysheet bid.

Would you like to risk that purchase of 10% back of CDN bid by listing them on eBay at 99c opening bid with no reserve?

I don't sell any coins on ebay due to the high fees.

You're avoiding my question. Suppose you did sell on eBay.

No I wouldn't sell them on eBay. I work off about a 10% profit margin and the fees would not make it worth while. this past weekend I sold a nice 1804 Half cent. I paid $112 for It. I sold it for $130. I made $18. If I had sold it on eBay I probably would have made less than $5
