some of those bee's were upgrades. when ever I see them in UNC. I get them even though I have 2 full date run 1919-1937 sets, but only 1 MS-63 1919 lol
Congrats on acquiring some beautiful world coins and the best part was finally putting a few faces to a name.
The mintage figure of 3,070 matches the number of Spiegelglanz/PP (prooflike) sets minted in Karlsruhe/G in that year; regular mintage for that year/MM combo is 3.4 million. In Germany we usually call a PP coin that is not in the original sleeve or box any more an "ex-PP" piece. Problem is that in those years (1964-1970) the sets came in sleeves that contained plasticizers. You don't want coins to stay in those. Christian
