As some of you know, I have been working on my specific gravity charts of basic common world and US coins. I decided to stop and prepare it for distribution. It contains 11 pages, with all sorts of neat info on a wide selection of coins and alloys. Any PDF viewer version 7 or higher can view and print. It prints nicely in a landscape format 11 x 8 1/2. The file is named: coin_SG_charts.pdf Edit - The latest version is available here: http://www.biblical-data.org/GSDykes_specific_gravity_tests.pdf
I very much appreciate you posting this. Unfortunately, only one of the 11 pages showed up. Here's the error I got with it:
You dont have the right font installed-looks like you are missing ArialMT-add that one and you should be good to go! Id try but I dont even know what a gravity test is!
The font (all of them) are/is embedded in the PDF file. You do not need any of the fonts on your system. Just download the full file. You can right click on the uploaded file name, (in the original post) and choose to save file as: "coins_SG_charts.pdf" -- then save it to your preferred location. I found it works okay, all 11 pages. I then view the PDF file with Adobe Acrobat reader.
Yeah, I use some of "KurtS" research in my posted PDF file, I give him credit and link the reader to another coincommunity posting of his which was more relevant to the charts. I wonder if he is still alive, his last posting was in 2010!!
Indeed, you can read, view and print the file, but you cannot remove or extract anything from it without a password. Were you just merely viewing the document? Were you trying to "copy" and paste something from the file? Usually Adobe Acrobat just simply opens the file to view, it does not normally try to "extract" anything unless you yourself ask it to do so. Hope this assists.IS ANYONE ELSE HAVING A PROBLEM VIEWING OR PRINTING THIS FILE ???
Discovered some new information on Franklinium I and II , metals. Added it to my Specific Gravity chart. A minor addition. According to Krause, Franklinium II was nickel with SILICON added. He does not mention whether or not it had any Columbium (per Guidebook to Franklin Mint Issues, 1979 edition. Chester L. Krause). The slightly changed file is here:
