I don't think it would be worth much more than $20, if the 4 digits repeated exactly that would be good, but since they don't it's just a near miss. Bank note serial numbers are really like the lottery, you think it's close but it really isn't anything, but when you hit big, it pays out big
Somewhere around here there's an "Almost" serial-number thread; that would definitely be a good home for this bill!
Oh so close. If only, and how many times have you heard that, the 4 and the 7 were reversed. It’s neat but it’s only worth face as it’s nothing special.
Even though it is $20, I would still keep it because it is four pairs and a 'close call' find, It was a shame that it was very close to being a repeater.
Not Sure why but I can't create a new thread so I will post here as it has something to do with this thread. I just received a 1995 face misaligned $20 dollar bill from the store and it looked funny So I thought I'd try and find out what it might be worth as I tried looking on the internet and could not find anything that looked the same as well as couldn't find any information about it. And now for some reason I can't add Photos of the bill for you guys.
