    Thanks Aidan,, correction noted !!

What difference does it make to a kid whether they learn presidents from coins or text books ? what can you find out from a bust image on a coin,,

Let the Kids learn the presidents and their accomplishments the old fashioned way from a book,
Lets celebrate the greatness of those accomplishments on our coins .You know ,Freedom, Independence, Liberty !!!!

What the HECK is wrong with you Ed Zak!? You are talking like some anti-American hate monger!!!! You sir are appalling! The way you talk about the presidents is simply disgusting and especially the way you think history is taught!!! Look pal I took 4 history classes last year and we were NOT taught they were evil slave owners at all!
Hello that is for geography class not history!!!

Hello!!!!!!!!!!!!! We learned nothing of the sort you son of a gun and I had one of the most liberal US history teachers you could imagine!!!!!!!!! Your hate can only get you so far pal.

NOS...not surprising you are from California as when a liberal starts losing an argument, they resort to name calling and the old, "hate monger" tag. You forgot to add white, insensitive, corporate stealing from the poor, white guy too! Before you raise your voice, why don't you reinforce your argument...try that first.

Unfortunately for you, that would require logic, rational, and historical reference. I usually find when somebody can't defend their position with facts, they resort to name calling which is pretty typical for the loser of a discussion. I don't care how many liberal history teachers you had because obviously it has not helped your appreciation of this country and its real history.

I raised many points, examples, and historical references that people should NOT grace American circulated coins...most importantly that our very own founding fathers did not want this for American coins. You want to put Clinton on a Chuckie Cheese token, go for it.

But your rational (or lack of) was pretty much set forth when your first post on this subject stated, "I think Bill Clinton would look great on a coin". I am not surprised as many people voted for him because he simply had nice hair. Yes sir, those are products of our educational system where the only good thing they can contribute to the discussion is name calling and labeling people that argue facts and historical reference with the old "hate moger" tag. It is getting old, try something new...

    Thank you..I agree...I'm realated to him ;)

I don't think they had a good doctor back then.....

If you remember he also was a General in the Army and won alot of our battles that were important in the History of our country.

So do we put Patton, Pershing, and Robert E. Lee on coins too? (just a few off the top I can think of)

That would not be a bad at all....since we don't want all of the President on the coins if we had the Generals it would make for less coins to put up with...if you only went with 4 or 5 star Generals you could cut down the number too...you might only have a handfull of coins in that series.

Too many people "loath" the military where they would rather have more rights for terrorists than rights for our soldiers...so it will never happen.

Oh my gosh. Name calling sir?! That is preposterous and I have stated enough facts to suite myself fine! You obviously have a very twisted view of these kinds of things and are horribly biased against the presidents of these United States!!! I do not know what state you live in but here we are not taught "how horrible the presidents are". Speedy makes a super point about William Henry Harrison about him being a general who FAUGHT for our country and may have shaped what it turned out to be today with key victories!!! Looks like you need to do some homework yourself. You've got me so whiled up I may just go to some "petition online" site and call for the mint to make circulating coins for the presidents! All presidents up to Mckinley would be nice for starters. Good day.

Your continued conduct after several warnings, which has prompted others to respond in kind, is the reason this thread is CLOSED.
