Wow! Those look fantastic! I love all these limited edition prints they put out. I am so glad that they shared their rich archives and that these items are still obtainable on the secondary market. Nice pickups!

And even if some of us could only afford these old notes they might be pretty beat up so the quality of the prints on the Souvenir Cards lets you see all the great details at full scale. The only thing you don't get is the big old treasury seals and serial numbers, but that's okay. I love these cards and what holding them in my own hands can teach me about the history of our currency. :)

    USS New York Battleship.
This Battleship saw action during both World Wars and was part of atomic bomb testing in the late 1940s.It was towed 40 miles away from Pearl Harbor in 1946 and sunk .According to historians, once WORLD WAR 2 started ,the "New York guarded Atlantic convoys to Iceland and Scotland when the U-Boat menace was gravest. Later it joined in the invasion of North Africa .The Spirit of the ship lives on .The Battleship New York was the fifth ship to bore the name of the Empire State. I collected Souvenir cards & belong to The Souvenir Card Collecting Society for a few years back in the early 1990s.I collected both ABNCo SO Cards & B.E.P. because I loved the vignettes & my budget, back then most cards were under $10.I'll keep putting a few up at a time I have a lot of them (2 Albums).I'm glad you enjoy looking at them I'm re-discovering them also it has been years since I took them out of the closet.
I have just to many to post as a set but I'll put a few at a time up.
White Ace makes albums & Pages w/protective sleeves .Ken Barr sells the albums & everything you need to get a collection started.
