Too true.Sometimes the hard work in the numismatic trade really pays off.I hope that you are
steering clear of those rubbish gold pieces. If you want to buy them, then they are only good as scrap
8 Carat gold.Have you ever seen Antiques Roadshow U.S.A.? We are getting old episodes screened over here in New Zealand.I prefer the English Antiques Roadshow though.

I'm probably never going to live that one down
I'm not going to buy any more of those. I know now what to look for. Though it was because of that purchase that I looked deeper into the gold pieces and I'm grateful for that knowledge, so it wasn't a waste by any stretch of the imagination. And, before you ask, I would not dream of selling those. I am going to use them as bonuses for buyers, but I wouldn't ask for any money for them - that would just be wrong!

Bobby and I watch the Antiques Road Show every now and then. I am also partial to the English antiques. I have always been very interested in European history (it's so much more colorful than American history IMO). That's been an interest of mine since I was a little girl and saw the Henry VIII miniseries on Masterpiece Theatre.
