Don't want sheets of uncut paper.

Looking for a good source for new uncirculated US paper money.

    Thanks

Your local bank. Ask the teller.

My local bank almost never has new bills. It is not big enough and only gets recycled ones. I've asked them before they can be me a bundle of 100 brand new consecutive bills and their answer is that they can only do it by special order around this time of year.

Larger Banks and Credit Unions disperse uncirculated notes especially this time of year. It helps if you are in a large town or city.

I get them from my Credit Union. It's odd that your bank doesn't get new strapped bills.

Call your local banks / credit unions. You may need an account but that normally just takes $25 to open an account.

Thanks for the responses. Hadn't thought about my local bank and not sure how they would handle that request as they always seem to be pretty busy.

    Are there any other sources?

Online sites that deal in uncirculated new currency with good reputations?

Banks usually have a hard time pushing the new notes on businesses. They stick together and are very hard to count. Some banks tellers will alternate old and new bills in a stack for that reason. Then sometimes the business does it themselves.

You'll pay face value at your local bank / credit union. Just ask them. The worst that can happen is that they'll say "no"

Otherwise you can buy them on ebay for a Premium, and pay shipping on top of that for something that is only worth face value.

on eBay you'll pay about $131 for $100 face value (premium, ebay & paypal fees + shipping) of new bills that you could pay $100 for at your bank. A 31% premium.

This may sound strange, but New Mexico has a lot of gambling casinos on Native American Reservations. The casinos have machines that if you put in a hundred dollar bill it will give you five twenty dollar bills, ten ten dollar bills or twenty five dollar bills. In my experience the bills are new and uncirculated and I have found quite a few star notes in the mix.

I used to be able to get similar notes in bank ATMs, but lately they have gone to older bills. The trick is to just go into the casinos, get your change from the machines and then leave without gambling the change you got from the machines.

    Hers' a recipe for success.

Buy a large block of their stock.

Open a business account and keep a balance of $100,000.00

    Open personal checking accounts.

    Get their credit card.

Take them a couple of pizzas ever few months for the tellers and managers.

Attend any and all events they sponsor in the community

Ask very politely to order whatever type material you want and know they can get.

Depending on their answer, reverse all the above steps and try another bank.

    Works for me.

At a company I used to work for, that used cash, when they got new bills, someone would go through them, and turn every other one around, so they would go obverse, reverse, obverse, reverse. They don't stick together as much that way, and if you see two in a row then you know they are stuck.

Many ATMs have new bills. The problem with them is that they mark them with a indelible marker on one side. Some of the bigger banks have a inside ATM at their post, to get large amounts of bills/currency. Once got many new $10.00 stares notes from one teller twice in a short period and tey were not from the same series.

Most banks during the holidays coming up can order new bills for people to buy to give in cards for Christmas, etc. I have a great thing going with my local bank. I am able to order blocks (10 packs) of new bills and they ship them to the bank from the local distribution center still wrapped in the Fed Reserve plastic so they have no rubber counting machine marks on them. Try checking with your local bank to see if they are doing "Christmas" orders to have new bills in stock....usually $2 and $100 bills...but they might be able to get you any others you want in packs of 100. I am now able to get new bills year round as they are used to me ordering new blocks. One of my recent orders had two complete packs of $2 star notes in the block. Still hoping to get another block like that but have not succeeded yet. So go in and talk to the person that does the money ordering. There is usually one person that does the ordering every week. Mine orders Friday and I pick up when they open the next Wednesday. Give it a shot.

    Thanks for the response.

How many bills are in one block (10 pack)?

A block is 10 packs of 100 bills in each pack. So a block of $1 bills would cost you $1000, $2 bills $2000, etc.

Many grocery stores, Home Depot, Lowes all get large some of the new currency. The banks do get new stuff, but place it in the automatic machines inside and outside auto ones, but give out the deposits from bussiness. I also ask the tellers if they have any old stuff. Currency or coins and get a lot of stuff for just asking at face. When I check out at any store and see new stuff I ask for them in my change as I do coins.
