I was shown this coin by a local seller. It is clearly pre-seleucid, sophytes of the eagle style with the bust of athena. However i have never seen this style in bronze, only in silver coinage. A bronze fake of a silver issue? or a genuine bronze? For context, Sophytes is a mysterious figure in the subcontinents history. He is like the missing link bettween alexander and the seleucids and all the greek influences in India.
To me the details on this coin look suspicious. In my opinion this is likely a replica with a copper core that was plated with silver, over time the silver plating was either worn away or was stripped off.
I don't know this coin at all, but I see nothing to be suspicious. I hope it turns out to be genuine.
