hi! I'm new to coin collecting & I don;t know all the jargon & such... where can I "get learned...?
Besides being ne to coin collecting I am also new to chat rooms. This is my FIRST. So If I do something wrong will you tell me? & then tell me what I should have done? I would really appreciate that

Actually, it isn't. CoinTalk is a forum, not a chat room.

The difference is that

• In a forum members post questions, answers and comments without regard to whether anyone else is signed on. Responses may be posted seconds, minutes, hours, or even days or weeks later.
• In a Chat Room members are signed on at the same time, and literally chat, with responses being made in essentially a real time conversation.

Each has its advantages and disadvantages, and although some folks do participate in both, most are either forumites or chatters.
