XF 49 would be a show stopper. Definitely AU money for a XF 49+ CAC

Someone needs to speak to them about their data validation.

We had a talk about data quality at a former employer. In a mass of data about corn cob length, there was one data point where someone apparently selected "feet" instead of "inches". The slide had a helpful "photo" of an eight-foot ear of corn...

    V. Kurt Bellman Yes, I'm blunt! Get over your "feeeeelings".

49 is "really really close to About Uncirculated".

Note the XF49 sold for a $1000 less than the XF45 coin :)

Yes, strange, considering it's such a condition rarity...!

Prices are really screwed... I will admit they did just change everything up and need to tinker with everything.

Really?! This would be the first I've seen detail coins showing up on the site.

For what it's worth, I don't see my old holed/engraved/XF-details 1878-P trade dollar showing up in that issue's entry.

Every 29, 49, etc listing I have opened the auction page for has been a details coin. There are still details coins listed under other grades, but I have not come across a single straight graded coins in these new categories.

Maybe 49 is the newly re-branded, much classier, AU-details... quick everybody send in those details coins for numerical grade! ;P
