So I sent this coin off thinking it was a Medium Letters, and PCGS corrected me saying it was large letters. The coin graded XF45. It has a rotated reverse as shown. There are 2 varieties of the Large Letters, Large 8, Large stars. N-6, which is a tougher R.3 coin, and N-7, which is a Rarity 7. Which do I have?
Nice die crackin' through the stars C-B-D. As for the variety, I'll leave that to the copper experts on this forum. Nice Piece..........
Your rich. But your coin is an N-6 in my opinion. Darn shame not an N-5. I think N-7 is a proof coin.
N-6, mid die state. And yes N-7 is a proof only but two circulated specimens have been discovered, on VF and one VG.
