Somebody asked if this is real on antiquers.

The 1909 $2.50 is #14 on NGC's list of top 50 most counterfeited coins. 15 of the top 50 are $2.50 Indian. I sure wouldn't trust a raw one. I recall that many of them are real gold, made overseas to get around the prohibition on owning gold in the US.
