I can't find any other example of an antoninianus with the reverse "SECVRITAS PERPET". I suspect it was copied from a sestertius of Gordian III, such as <a href="https://www.forumancientcoins.com/catalog/roman-and-greek-coins.asp?param=73637q00.jpg&vpar=716&zpg=84926&fld=https://www.forumancientcoins.com/Coins2/" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="https://www.forumancientcoins.com/catalog/roman-and-greek-coins.asp?param=73637q00.jpg&vpar=716&zpg=84926&fld=https://www.forumancientcoins.com/Coins2/" rel="nofollow">this one</a>.</p><p><br /></p><p>[ATTACH=full]1342323[/ATTACH] </p><p>And finally, a pretty poor condition antoninianus of Macrianus, ROMAE AETERNAE reverse. Surprisingly, I won this coin (and 3 others) for the opening bid of £4.99 (so about £8 ($11) after postage). It was from a very popular UK seller too, so I'm not sure how it slipped through the net.</p><p><br /></p><p>There was another coin that hasn't arrived yet - a scarce error antoninianus of Probus.
