In the rolling process it could be possible at the ends of the strip for a clad layer not to extend far enough and have a full thickness two layer (or possibly even one layer) at the end for the strip. But these ends would be cut off before the strip is coiled and shipped to the Mint. I suppose on occasion it could be possible for one of these ends to be mis-trimmed and leave a bit of two layer strip at the end. But this would be compounding one error after another, an error in rolling, and error in trimming, an error in it not being noticed by the worker feeding it into the blanking press, and then an then finally an error in allowing it to get out. Loss of a layer after blanking is much more likely
using the table above and starting from normal weight of struck on dime stock the promoter has not gotten back to me, so i do not think i will have a spot there???
I will have a table there, but sometimes I get just as much done at a show with a backpack going from table to table. Ernie is usually pretty good at responding to dealers regarding tables.
