Look I honestly have a significant amount of respect for doug. He has a strong wealth of knowledge about coins. But my respect for doug is based on what he knows and posts. However I'm not going to let a flawed statement unchallenged regardless of who says it. And if our discussion gets heated so be it as long as the rules of the forum are followed. We are all grownups here and can have a strong difference of opinion and have fun on the next thread. There is no way I'm going to be silent when this childish behavior of intentionally insulting customers is being defended or worse praised. I know what the word professional means and I know how someone has to behave to earn that title. Not a single coin buying non dealer has said " wow that is totally understandable and acceptable behavior". As for the heavy hand I always thought doug was a big boy and able to handle himself. And your documentation of how often your stricken word is used tells quite the story. Bottom line- a professional does not try to offend anyone for any reason. I'm still waiting for another example where your boss claps you on the shoulder and says "great job blowing off that sale. We don't need his money when he offends us by negotiating like that.". So gem go ahead and not pick my posts all you want a true professional doesn't take his ball and go home when his feelings are hurt. There is no picking apart that simple fact. The fact we are even having this absurd debate is exactly what the other anti dealer posts were trying to get to when us customers talk about dealer attitude. People acting like jerks on purpose because the customer violated their "best price" and hurt their little feelings. You can not act like this in America anymore when you are a salesman selling any product. It won't be tolerated. No worries though. I'll just keep buying on the web and dealers who know how to properly conduct themselves as professionals will get all my profits. So don't worry condor and dandis, you will never have to suffer my money to profit with your self declared non professional attitude.
