You all are very correct IMO. Most coin dealers are not knowledgeable in th Lincoln Memorial series. They're missing out on this very interesting cent. I guess they think it is not lucrative enough for them. This is not meant as an insult. It is a very time consuming series.
Thad, on your 1968-S reverse, what is that above the E in one and the C in cent?

Anything you see is from the airtite holder/reflections. I put it in the airtite and then realized I didn't have pictures. DOH! LOLOLOL This coin is nearly flawless in hand and the sharpest strike I could find. Compare the reverse with any other 68-S, this coin rocks. :kewl:

Thanks. I never even thought of a reflection being the cause.
I just checked some of my '68's and I see what you mean. zeke

A Gem Bu from a roll

I found 2 Gem Bu bank rolls of 1983 and one roll had 15- 83-D in it.
:kewl: would you grade it for me???

I'd say MS66 RD. Very nice 'D' cent. I want one of those. Someday I'll, I'll, I'll-------find one.

Nice jello! That coin looks to be at least MS-64.

I like it a great deal. These usually have terrible surfaces and this one is nice. The reverse isn't as good but the coin should get a bump or two for being tough. I'd think it would go MS-66 probably. I don't have a lot of experience with this date but don't think I've seen one nicer.

You're right, these are nomally bumpy with gas bubbles. Even mine has a few:

Nice coins. Never really paid attention to these - all of mine come from pocket change. I really like the color and look of some of these coins.

very nice red specimens. The only thing I have about the 60's lincolns is that he really started to spread out and lose a lot of detail and they did nothing about it until 1969.

Here are a few I've set aside over the years... use to search boxes and pick out the best 2 or 3..... too much work, but found some nice examples of a few dates.
