Except they took a lot of work to get to an acceptable condition. Some still need some more work, as of now they got two soaks in acetone. I am a Handyman for a local company and part of the BIO my company puts out says a little about me. one is that I collect coins. The other day one of my customers tipped me with a few Lincoln Folders 41- 82, early American coinage (all replicas), a Franklin Mint Presidential tokens album, and an Abraham Lincoln Memorial collection plaque. Most of the folders weren't much to look at, mostly worn coins you know the drill. I am still working on some of these. The clear plastic back was missing on the Memorial collection and someone put Duct tape on the reverse to hold them. This put residue all over one side. Here are some of them soaking. They were in pretty bad shape but have rainbow toning on one or both sides. Here are a few of them below. We will start with a few of the highlights. A 71D with a nice lamination. A 69D RPM More to come after they have been restored and photo'd.
You are a pretty lucky man to have such a good working relationship with your fellow workers. Congrats.
Thank you , up until I got this tip I had no idea that it was even part of my Bio. Right after that I was able to help another customer with some appraisals. Actually sent them to Hallenbeck Coins in Co Springs. That is where the coins were.
