I see they still haven't solved the "snakeskin" problem. What a distinctly unattractive proof coin.

Its ok but I also prefer the actual sandblasted proof, not the design on the die proof also. Not the same look. However, to each his own, and if we all liked the same things it would be a very boring hobby, right? i wish more people would start hating ancients, they are getting too popular...

That Austrian 1.50 euro is quite nice!

 

I agree, the mint needs to move away from this fake laser cameo. It cheapens the value of cameo and deep cameo since there’s no variation……and it’s ugly.
