I can't decide if this wheat cent is a lamination error or some type of PMD. Or possibly a little of both who knows. What do you guys think?

kind of odd that it is delaminated on both sides in the same area. I thought at first glance that it might be a Fissure, "tear in the planchet" But the definition on Error-ref.com doesn't match.

Interesting, found a post on coin community where someone found a buffalo nickel with a lamination error on both sides of the coin. The odd thing is this buffalo nickel also has the lamination error line up in the same location as the obverese/reverese. Wonder how something like that happens :wideyed:.

Oh wow I forgot to put the link in lol. http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=115344

    What would it be worth?

    It's not a lamination, imo.

It's been damaged by a chemical
    or something that would cause
    the effect you see.
