I have been wanting to share with you some of my favorite old coins in my collection. They do not qualify as ancient I suppose as they are not from way back, but they start from 1904-1950's! Here is my list for you: French 25 centimes 1904 (in pretty good shape). French 5 centimes 1917 (in decent shape in a 2x2). India 2 Annas 1919 (in a 2x2 with grade of F). Spain 1949 50 centimos. New Zealand 1 shilling 1951 with King George. *France Chamber of Commerce 2 francs 1924. *France 20 frances with Gallic Rooster and Marianne (of course!). *Columbia 5 centavos 1946 (in 2x2) with a grade of xf. *Ceylon 10 cents 1946 (in 2x2) with a grade of xf. I tried to keep them in chronological order, but forgot some I wanted to include in the mix! I find the French ones with the gallic rooster and Marianne quite interesting. Once I went to this art museum, and there was a statue of a boy trying to hold a chicken wanting to escape. I liken it to us and how life is at times. I'm hoping in time soon to take some images for your enjoyment!
